even more random thoughts
mmmmm. had a nice 2hr nap just now. amazing amazing. i've never slept so long in the afternoon before. figures. my flu is draining out all my energyyy!!! darn.
just finished writing michelle's really really long letter =) thanks dajie for the TWO long letters, the xmas card and the hot hot pink halter!!! wow=) you're really the bestest dajie in the world! haha. yesterday when my mood was so grouchy, reading those letters put a wide smile on my face =D
tml's gonna be a long day. grad night rehearsal, meeting mr tan and then im getting jo to teach me the dance steps i missed yesterday. hopefully i recover by tml otherwise it's gonna be a long tough day.
sigh. nothing more to say. being sick makes me oh-so-grumpy. ta ta.

its 908am in the morning, have absolutely no idea what im doing online instead of snuggled up in bed like a sane human being. in fact there's only two other fellow insane people online. phoebe and qihan. haha, crazy crazy people.
guess i slept too much yesterday thanks to the meds.
oh yes my mum has got a new rule. everynight by 10pm, my laptop, handphone, ipod and gameboy will be confiscated. oh boy. so guys, don't msg me after 10, and don't expect me to be online or replying emails after 10 either.

Bad day
Feeling sick is one of the most horrid and terrible feelings in the world.

oh my freak. im as sick as a dog. stupid darn flu and cough and sore throat. im constantly dripping tears and mucus 24/7, excuse the gross mental image.
blah. life stinks when youre sickkk.
hmmm had dance today. if you discount the horrid nose-dripping, coughing and tearing up dance was quite fun. some stupid idiot called lim qihan asked me to go to school at 2(instead of 3!) to practise first. yeah right like it actually happened. ended up taking out my physics homework to mug. haha, i'm such a good girl to bring my tys everywhere i go eh? =)
went to my grandma's house for dinner. thanks weet for the ride =) erms cant really remember anything already. my brain's feeling woozy from medication.
oh yes thanks to all those who provided my supply for tissues the whole day. yingjie, the toilet roll from the grandstand toilet, qihan and half the box on top of my grandma's tv set. ooops. i shall invest in some tissue packets soon =)

myanmar!
ISL MYANMAR 2007
It felt different today. Back in singapore. I don't know. The air is different, less polluted. My bed is suddenly so comfy, the food is heavenly. Suddenly im back to knowing the days of the week, back to checking my calendar at least 12 times a day trying to fix meetings, back to running after the train, back to my the datelines workload and whatnots. Back to reality i guess. I'm glad to be back yes, but hell, i miss myanmar an awful lot too.
MYANMAR. Before, whenever i think myanmar i would probably think backwards, unsafe, low-class, poor. Thought that the trip was just going to be going there to help out. then come back and resume life the way it was. no strings attached. no big changes. no nothing. guess i was plain deluded. Myanmar shocked me. yes, it did. On one hand it was grander then expected, on the other, the situation was worse than i thought.
First day. We went to the pagoda. it was magnificient. makes you think doesn't it? all that money and jewels used to make the pagoda. it would have meant so much to the poor people of myanmar. yet they willingly donated. for their faith. its. amazing. How strong their faith is. i have to say i was impressed. speechless.
days two to five. went to the village. it was sad. the quality of life there is so bad. but the most saddening part to me was the children. they were such a sweet nice smart wonderful cute bunch of kids. yet, that was it. they were stuck in the village. with no future no opportunities no education whatsoever. its saddening. especially when you see a really special and mature and smart kid. like winsouk or polarbit or yeomingshou (the spellings are all my own inventions) they ought to have their shot at life. but yet, they dont.
i miss the children. i really do. the day we left them, it was heartbreaking. the way they all knew my name, shouted my name, hugged me, high-fived me, shook my hand and did the love sign and said i love you. i love all of them to bits and bits. the chicken dance i taught them. i hope they remember it for life =)
day 6. we went to thaw's house. then to the singapore embassy. (which was really really nice btw) and cultural night! the bbq was nice =) the performances were interesting too. haha. i think ours really paled in comparison to theirs. but oh wells, i had fun =)
day 7. we went to shop with thaw at some place that sold alotta nice dvds and earrings and stuffs. ate very very good dimsum. then it was goodbye =(
actually the most poigant moments of the trip wasnt the events. It was the friends i made. Peiyi and fel, im glad to have gotten so much closer to you two =) Sherlene Arthi and eUgene- Im glad to have made friends with you guys. All the late night gossips (talking on and on about our love lifes eh), all the singing ( or rather shrieking) on the bus rides. i miss it bad. and of course not forgetting thaw. my "hot myanmar guy". HAHA. thanks for being so sweet, for all the compliments, for being nice eye candy ( ie providing distraction haha) and for the cute hp chain thing you gave me. Im glad to make a new friend in you too. And hopefully when you come to singapore next year, we'll return the favour and show you around =)
and once more not forgetting the wonderful monsoon treats. it was yummilicious. thanks uncle chat =))))) and i'll miss all the code names: som, hero, pervert, carpenter. HAHAHA. just thinking of it makes me smile =)) hilariousness.
Thinking back i guess we learnt a whole whole lot. Sure we helped a teeny bit. We bulid tube wells and latrines that can last what, 5 years 10 years 15years? but the lessons we learnt. to appreciate what we have. to relax a little. to be more helpful. It would last. Not jsut 5 years 10years or 15 years.
but a lifetime.

oh dear. eve of departure. wow. weird, im not exactly excited. not that im not happy to go but its just surreal... and im too stressed out now.
packing is. blah. my shorts are short. darn. currently rushing through orientation proposal before i leave. but thing is i cant do anything now till mr tan returns my call. so meanwhile, i'll try not to conk out. chiong-ing the lignum walk-in thingie too. okay there's a lot alot of work to do for costumes it seems. darnnn.
okie despite the stress im starting to feel a tiny tiny twinge of excitement now *WIDE GRIN*
bye bye dear blog. shall miss you muchly ahhhhhhhh. i think i'll suffer from withdrawal symptoms tml. nvm, will make up for it when i get back heh heh.

step up
hello i had a great day today =)
econs in the morning. had fun colouring identical notes with suwan =) had fun chatting with her at mos. HAHA. she pasted a sticker on my phone that says: CAUTION! HOT! heh heh heh.
OGL meeting with my darling walk-in comm. hmmm DIRTY DIRTY thoughts as usual *grin* we finally settled on the idea. yay yay yay! thanks to all those who came down=) and fadhli, thanks for handling the meeting so efficiently after i left for dance. must say im impressed by the plan =) how RAD. HAHA.
dance dance. had fun. i always like dancing sequences alot alot alot more than just normal pracs. sequences are fun=)
rushed down ALL THE WAY to PS for my date with dear celine! haha. Step up was at 650. but dance ended slightly later so i ended up there at 710!!!! but at least i proved that my thoery of Gv having super long trailers was right. didnt miss a bit =) yay.
STEP UP was... hot. yeah, plot is not as sizzling as expected but boy are those moves hot or what. the dance was wow wow inspiring. and channing tatum. woohoo. OKAY, the last time me celine and charleen saw him in she's the man i already fell in love with him. he looks fat in this show though. but heck it, im still head over heels =) Mrs channing tatum. mmmmmmmmmm. =)
bumped into the PAE S14 class outing. haikal, jielin, jason, sijing and all. took pics for them haha. then off to pasta mania to eat =) gossiped, chatted, caught up on news =) We both have new common eye candy HAHA. how fun=) love ya celine! had a great time =))
and oh yes, the next time i see you wont be dec 26 la, dont forget dear grad night. HAHA. dec 3! can't wait!!! =))

Remind me never to read newspapers late again. Just read the whole past week's papers in one night cos i was really busy this week. i missed the singtel fair. and the LG roadshow. oh damn.
I WANT THAT LG CHOCOLATE PINK or RED WINE
and today a friend of mine got the LG pink. her mum bought it for her. lucky girl.
way better than MY mum who promised i'll get it if i promote and also keep all my subjects without any probation whatsoever. WHICH I DID.
but oh she changes her mind just like that.
my poor LG chocolate. hmphhs.
20laps under 40minutes today. hmmm. next time i'll try 30 under 50 mins =)
might as well use this time when my dad's down with a cold to gain an edge so he'll be eating my dust next time we compete =) HAHAHA.

HELLO i just realised i skipped morning lit lecture cos i went for econs thingie. oh dear. i hope this wasnt the lecture we were supposed to do the group work thing. shittttttt. sorry ms champange haha.
urmms. went for the econs thing. then dental. then bought MORE colour pens. then went to tampines mall to collect my mum's air tickets. then off to my grandma's house for dinner. then mugged. HAHAHA.
im free from 12- 6 tml in town or in school anyone wanna do anything?! movie/MUG/eat/shop/run blahhhhhhhh.
i still need a black dress for grad night LOL.

ALRIGHTS. i ate the anti-malaria drug today. read the side effects and its freaky like hell.
it apparently causes nightmares, hallucinations, confusion, anxiety and depression.
also gastric pains, convulsions, rashes, enzema...
and those are only the start. the list of side effects is freakingishly looooooong!
oh dear. i dont dare sleep HAHA. i hate hate hate nightmares.

hello had a really really busy and exhausting day today. haha brain is on the verge of dying on me oh no.
started the day off with dance at kallang. haha it was fun especially the part where we had to use our imagination!!!!
went to city hall to eat lunch with duying yanjun and fur after dance. i like the cheeeeese in my french chicken burger =) then went off with fur to go meet the rest of the ogls for our meeting!
yay, no hiccups in the meeting (of course thanks to my head-banging brain-hurting 3 hours spent trying to fit everything and everybody's schedule to a feasible orientation plan! HEH HEH) a huge huge huge thanks to all those who came down =) and of course those who tried but really couldn't! nvm, we shall make orientation a huge huge success ya? LIGNUM LOVE!!!
split up into comms. my dear walk-in comm, me fad phoebs kat ben fur, went to subway to discuss =) HAHAHHA the ideas we had!!! SO SEXUAL CAN. lol lol lol lol. tsk tsk tsk. dirty minded group LOL. oh oh oh but i like our ideas heh heh =) shall go refine them tml =))
after meeting, went to orchard with kat phoebe and fad to get kat's airplane tickets and her contacts! HAHA. shaw center had TWENTY SEVEN FLOORS. WHICH IS MY ABSOLUTE FAV NUMBER so we decided to just take the lift all the way up and see if our ears pop and also take a peek heh heh heh.

after meeting, went to orchard with kat phoebe and fad to get kat's airplane tickets and her contacts! HAHA. shaw center had TWENTY SEVEN FLOORS. WHICH IS MY ABSOLUTE FAV NUMBER so we decided to just take the lift all the way up and see if our ears pop and also take a peek heh heh heh.
on the way up we kept imagining it will be some secret weird world. magical and all. haha. actually it was quite different! the place was freaky different and posh and erm quiet. and there was a chandeliar. and omg we just sat there giggling SILENTLY so that no one knows we intruders and cam whoring!!! HAHA. oh yes we are really really really WEIRDD. but hey i like it =)
went for dinner with kenneth. haha was freaking out over going to tuition like a loner after that. went for tuition LOL. was quite funny we were waiting outside the class and each time we thought i should go in, it turns out to be a false alarm!! HAHA. tuition was alrights i guess. made friends with pamela and hui yin. one from VJ and the other from TJ which means we had A LOT TO GOSSIP ABOUT HAHAHAHA. east pple rock =) OH YES PAMELA KNOWS KIM!!!!!! HAHA the world is small.
after tuition, met up with kenneth again. went home. HAHA. i slept on the mrt despite the blasting ipod in my ear. oh im really really tired LOL.
okays off to bed. was still happily thinking tml is a nice slack day (FINALLY MY FIRST!) to relax at home. and go swim and pack stuff and mug. RIGHT. just found out i have to go celebrate my 9yrold cousin's bdae tml. be prepared to by hyper. and TIRED.

oh oh today was a really fun day =)
started the day out with teaching the myanmar ppl mass dance. haha. we're doing summer nights cos upside down might be a little too sexual for myanmar ppl. LOL. it was quite funny that rong en cant walk with opposite hands and legs. HAHA. had fun. to all those who came down, thanks alot=) really appreciate it.
after mass dance went to eat lunch with gerad. had wanton noodles at the coffeeshop behind followed by yummy yummuy ice cream at estivo's! HAHA. we sat there for really really really long. The couch was comfy and we were like just playing songs of his laptop HAHAHA. quite loudly too. oh we have similar tastes in songs!!!!!! amazing. amazing. =)
went for the exco station games try out!!!! FUN FUN FUN! the captain's cabbage/lettuce/cucumber was HILARIOUS. and the biting apple thing, the water balloons, the PAMPERS! ahhhhhhhhh! orientation is gonne be so so so cool =) had a great time today! then after that me faizal lynette jolynn and xueyuan were gossiping with mr tan for so long in the SL. HAHA. fun fun funnnnnn =)
ok i sound so high but actually im exhausted like anything considering i spent the last three hours trying to come up with a proper plan and datelines for the lignum orientation prep! HAHA. when i wrote down my entire's HAT overseas schedule on calendar, it filled everything! except the last week LOL OMG. hope tml's ogl meeting will be good =)
alrights off to bed. busy day ahead tml =)))
ps. i went to the doctors to get malaria pills. had 2 options. pill A: side effects is gastric problem and sunburn. pill B: side effects is nightmares. oh shit i took B HAHAHAHHA. i shall be scared to sleeeeeeep!

was kinda cute, entering school at 515 when everyone had either a) just finshed training and going home or b) done their math As and chionging back home to mug. I looked like I'd left something behind in school and was gonna retrieve it. LOL.
Was supposed to meet jo to run but it RAINED. and she was LATE. and funniest of all, she turned up in slippers. Well done Jo, couldnt have done it better myself. HAHAHA. In the end, sat at the round tables like a loner reading my book when all around me J2s were chattering excitedly about their paper. (jo, feeling guilty for being late? HAHA)
danceeeeee. cikgu came =)) quite fun yay. calf muscles are aching like hell and rock solid. kept poking it. and even jo poked my calves. HAHA. she says its hard =) YAY YAY. I've gotten my pre-promos calves backkkk. Had fun teasing Minh. Me and Jo have decided to call him DICK. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. and the funniest thing is, he asnwers to it!!!!

That sticky lethargic humid tired frustrasted bothered stressed pissed-with-life feeling.
I don't know why all of a sudden I'm feeling so lethargic and grumpy. Yes grumpy. Not common for me but my grumpy side does exist nevertheless and when it emerges its as if its making up for all the lost time.
I'm suddenly hating all the datelines and whatnots of life. drat I&R. drat this drat that. They say we humans are smart. Yeah right. If we were we wouldn't be so stupid as to create such a horribly demanding and competitive society for ourselves. Its just plain stupid. What's wrong with living a simple primitive life where all we bother is to catch the day's dinner? Think about it. No more stupid datelines, no more mindless mugging, or stress or headaches or endless rushing.
BLISS.
Perhaps we wouldn't have the enjoyments of life we do now. Movies and shopping centres and handphones and blah blah.. But isn't it worth it to give up all that to enjoy more of life itself? Rather than having the things to enjoy, but not the time nor energy.
Where has the enjoyment of life gone to? If all of us were to die today. Now. Can we honestly answer ourselves that we've led a meaningful happy and contented life?
Maybe it's time we enjoy life before we're dead.
I'm just so sick of so many things bouncing endlessly off the walls of my mind.

hmmmm im tired. and here i am starting to do my I&R when i heard people talking about it months ago. okayyy. im a slacker. so shoot me.
shoot me and maybe i'll thank you for taking me outta this complicated thing called life. oh yeah. thanks michelle for the talk over the phone that entertained me for 3/4 of my journey from bedok to NJ. haha. it was nice =))
gyming in the morning. hmmm only one hot guy there and he's not even that hot. HAHA. miss those times last year gyming with dear jiahui =)) more like a gossip-cum-gyming session but quite fun!! HAHA. and the swimming sessions! black chicken! LOL.
breakfasted. then off to school for pwing. STUPID SIDE GATE WAS LOCKED. reached there at 1230. spent 20mins waiting for the stupid side gate to open. in this 20mintues, ive seen demonstrated to me two different ways of climbing the school gate. courtesy of daniel and zhuojie. HAHA. and i've also mentioned the word "councillor" like a million times whenever peiyi liting or aline wanted to climb. HAHAHA.
pw-ed. LOL. MY PW-MATES THINK I LOOK LIKE SHEN CAIJING. hahahhahaha. even my mum said so. okayyyy. who wants my autograph??!!!!! haha. anyway pw seems pretty ok. all i need to do now is uh START I&R, REDO SCRIPT and MEMORISE. dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

me and my color pens
me and my colour penssssss!
HELLO TODAY WAS AN EVENTFUL DAY HAHA.
hmmm first thing i did in the morning was to go to the doctors to get THREE STUPID JABS for myanmar. yep. lucky i took the tetanus a few weeks back. so today was just typhoid hep A and flu jabs. geeeee. the doctor wanted to jab at like three different places but i insisted that he jabbed all on my right arm (because im so scared of pain, at least one spot in pain beats three right) rrrrighto. bad bad move. now my right arm is aching quite badly and the doctor says its gonna hurt worse tml. oouch. i hate hate hate pain.
off to parkway to shop after the painful experience! hmmm went to buy sunblock and those small bottles of soap and shampoo for myanmar! then went to nike and bought this really really hot pinkish-purple SB with gray straps! HAHA. niceeee =) maybe i shall wear it tml! oh oh and i went on a COLOUR PENS SHOPPING SPREE ohmyfreak i have so many now hahaha! i can start mugging colourfully with them!!! =))

oh oh chinese was pretty cool. HAHA. hmmmm the essay question threw me abit. cos i was expecting what laoshi predicted! HAPPINESS!!! grrrrr. but oh wells nvm i did some primary school-ish topic about my mum beating me LOL. hmm i like my essay. it was practically 4 pages long HEH HEH. compared to my one page and 3 lines for CTs hmmmmmmmmm. cool =))
paper two was interestingly ok too. the stupid story that came out wasn't one that i've read. (actually outta the 10 stories i only read one but still) HAHA. but it was fairly understandable yay =)) i want an A heehee (cos xueyuan owes me a treat that way) but i guess a B's ok too =) whatever it is, here's to no more chinese ever. cheers.
went out to orchard for the lignum outing thingie with celine fadhli gha justine darius and angie! hmmm me and celine got approached by the usual modelling thingie and i gave a perplexing answer heh heh:

had hokkien mee at food republic. hmmm was acting silly calling darius da da and celine mummy =) then fadhli came and the usual bimbo talk ensued. HEH. after lunch, went off to lido with darius and fadhli. sat there for like forever fighting over the show to watch. since we're all such stubborn ppl, we ended up sitting there talking and not watching any movie. HAHA.
went off to starbucks =) three of us started gossiping!!! about uh hot guys. HAHA. i would like to hereby declare that darius has really weird taste whereas me and fadhli have extremely similar tastes its almost like we're twins =) darius thinks we chatter like girls. even when we talk about guys, or girls, or gays, or lesbians. geee.
oh yes channing tatum is so hot! HEH HEH HEH HEH. (but both me and fadhli thinks he put on weight lol)

slacking at the wrong time
slacking
you know, i highly doubt staring at the same page of chinese for half a day is really going to do me much good considering my brain can't seem to comprehend just about anything.
unless unless of course, we go by some weird logic whereby im actually absorbing in some cheena aura by staring at my book for so long.
if that's the case then by all means i should continue =) ANYTHING to get through tml's paper. anythingggg.
and oh yes pigs can fly too. think airpork =) THEN think: Sam is gonna get an A tml. HAHAHA.
alrights enough of nonsense. i'm feeling quite down. how come teachers get so much say in our ogl list? grrrrr. i want my ogls!!! *wails*
hmmm and maybe i was right all along in never trusting anyone easily. it seems that everyday i get to witness just how easily trust can be broken.

today was.. slack. went for chinese in the morning. was quite late BECAUSE THE SIDE GATE WAS CLOSED!!! arghhh. was on the bus with chien wei and he wanted to alight at main gate. HAHA but i saw zhikai on the bus still and thought maybe he knew sidegate was open. BAD MOVE! had such a long walk bleah.
chineseee. that stupid bee! it looked dead. then it CAME BACK TO LIFE! HAH HAH.
went chinatownnn to looksee looksee OBK stuffs. ummms. can u spell E-X-P-E-S-I-V-E?? shittttt. dental after that and home sweet home =))
goong was so so so nice today. im addicted haha! alrights, tml is complete mugging chinese day. im home the whole day=)) yay.
